Hi! I am an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behaviour at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.

My research studies social inclusion in emerging market contexts. Specifically, I study how the interplay of individual agency and structural constraints shapes organizational and entrepreneurial outcomes. I examine themes such as motivation, social networks, and institutional contexts, particularly in settings of entrepreneurs and frontline workers in India. I design field experiments, lab-in-the-field studies, and survey-based research to generate insights that are academically rigorous and relevant for policy and practice.

I am an active member of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society, and serve on the Editorial Review Board of the Strategic Management Journal.

At ISB, I teach ‘Leading Self and Teams’, and ‘Negotiation Analysis’ to MBA students. I have a PhD from INSEAD and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B).
